Is technology helping or hindering when it comes overcoming communication barriers in health care?

Technology is important to improve the quality of life. The using of technology helps to overcome some communication barriers in health care. The use of the e-dictionary can translate into difference languages that helps health care profession to communicate with the people when need translation. Also, the use of Personal control assistant (PDA) helps patients to access health information easily; hence, patients understand better terminology terms and know what treatment plans are available for them. Furthermore, the use of technology can help the health care profession to access information that allows them to seek help from other profession through the intranet easily.
